ok I am now starting to make the upgrades on my car. My projectors will be here on wednesday. Now I want to do something for performance. I already have the SRI. What else could I do that would be somewhat inexpensive?

The way I look at things are that the car's chassis was designed by Toyota to cope with a certain power output. If you want to start increasing the engine's performance, then you should realy consider tweaking the chassis first. Brakes pads, renew brake fluid, suspension bushes, springs etc... All IMHO of course wink.gif

i vote for intake. Just a short ram to replace the stock airbox will make you feel sooooo much better about the hp-challenged celica wink.gif they have them for our cars cheap on ebay.

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?

a short ram intake will only make it sound louder... there is so little performance added by it if any that you wont feel it. all you will notice is the louder engine sound.

short of an engine swap, the best choice for you is cold air intake headers and exhaust...

Intake

Some Headers

...and then take your car to an exhaust shop and ask for 2.5 inch piping under axel with the muffler of your choice
