so people have been making fun of miguel (devilsden97) because he keeps complaining about my driveway. so we took pics so he doesnt look crazy and to address of comments like "the girl can do it why cant you" laugh.gif

anyway, i still dont see the problem and think theres plenty of room for the celica. i learned in my dads camry which is wider so i can go up it in the celica without really paying attention...but again, i do it everyday smile.gif

edit: thats me driving his car up and miguel taking pics

haha laugh.gif
its just that part, theres a yard at the top with two 2-car garages (ones ours and ones our neighbors) you can actually fit about 5 cars up there if you really wanted to (its just a bit hard to get out then)

yeah people get scared all the time cause i get crazy close to things and dont hit anything, they usually think its just cause im stupid/a girl and im un-aware of how close i am...yeah no, i know what im doing...its cause of my driveway biggrin.gif

heres [half of] the back (thats my dads wonderful parking job...thats why i dont let him touch the car anymore smile.gif )

dude, driveways in englad are nuts! they've got streets as wide as your driveway. i remember when i had just moved there, my dad was there before me, he had bought a rhd land rover disco 4 diesel (which we chipped and installed spacers on, that car was a beast), one of the first days i was there i thought i was gonna get into an accident so many times: we were driving up this street, cars parked on both sides. barely any room (that's where retractable mirrors really come in handy) and he smacked an Audi TT mirror clean off! crazy!

Wow you have a lot of space... seriously you do!! That's not even a sarcasm. You should seriously see my driveway XD!! I have like one inch room for mistake in both sides. It's wide in the beginning and it gets tighter as you pass the house. I'll send in pics later. But its possible. My dad can drive his honda odyssey through it too. However he needs to put one of the side mirror inward. XD When I first learned to drive, through it was tough, especially when trying to that backwards.

yeah...the celica has tons of space. in my dads camry you have to dodge things that come off the side of the houses though.
but i wont do it backwards though...thats just crazy lol

you could get an elephant up the side of the car in the driveway, but seriously I would get rid of that stupid kerb piece halfway up, I mean whats the point in that other than for damaging alloys?

and blimey, how the hell did you split the rim like that? You must have been going fast when you hit the kerb??

^just the scratches (bottom pic) are from that curb

he went over a rock at like 45mph, thats what made that huge split

ive never hit that curb...its actually never caused a problem for me. i'll still have to be extra careful when i get my new rims on though smile.gif
