Hello. I was wondering if anyone can help me? I need to paint a kit but I can't seem to find the RIGHT red color of my car anywhere in stores. Does anyone know what kind of red color the celica originally has? I know it's not just RED. There are many different reds. Thanks.

BTW... you guys need to sticky the color chart of the celica just in case. tongue.gif

there is a sticky
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=6&t=11604

your paint code should be on the sticker on your drivers door...that was a bad explaination, theres a pic in that thread somewhere. i got touch up paint from the dealer, i couldnt find it anywhere else. but if your going to a body shop to have the kit painted find your paint code and tell the body shop...or ask them, they should know where to find it, theyre a freakin body shop biggrin.gif

Then we found another sixth gen, and this one had an invader kit and a paint job with graphics all over it, but it was completely overdone, and the graphics were glued on or something, because they stuck up pretty high and didn't look good up close. Also, it had a fake GT-Four hood bulge, which was simply glued on top of the stock hood. And he has NOS stickers, despite his nitrous kit being a Nitrous Express kit and not NOS. rolleyes.gif We told the owner about the site though, so maybe he'll come on here sometime. Here's a couple pics of this car:

Alright thanks for the info guys, that helps alot.

BTW, that's not my car and it's a 7A engine. Thought I would have a cool banner or something but I will have pix up of my car soon once I get a digital camera. But I have to tell you guys... my car is ugly. biggrin.gif I'm in the process of fixing it to be nice so I guess it'll be a good project for me. Only problem is.. all my money is going towards it. I got it off my brother for a good 2000 since the engine was rebuilt 10k miles ago.
