Lot of fun my friend wink.gif

thanks for tips, here are my comments:

- 3-post red stitched steering wheel with SRS airbag
IPB Image
there are two 3-post steering wheels and six different assys... IPB Image. However if anyone want enjoy some risk biggrin.gif,
here
part numbers:
black leather wheel assy (red stitched???): 45100-2B310-C0
price: $1350
button assy: 45130-2B270-C0
price: $1150

- red stitched shift knob
IPB Image
there are three part numbers available:
33504-17080-C0
33504-17071-C0
33504-20140-C1
everything shift knobs..., but with one is that SS-III "red stitched"? frown.gif (my guess is bold one because same was for last GT-fours)
prices:
$190
$210
$150

- silver stereo, shift and fan trim
IPB Image
part numbers:
silver stereo trim: 55405-20300
silver shift trim: 58804-20280
silver air fan trim: 55650-20320
NOT CONFIRMED (Carefull those are only RHD parts !!!)
price: ??? (however I believe silver paint can handle this cheaper biggrin.gif)

- front and rear seats (black/gray with red design)
IPB Image

IPB Image
uf... same problem as that wheel (there are three types... I can't figure out witch one is that red, black, grey ones). However probably should be those...
front seats part numbers:
RH TOP: 71040-20030-C0
LH TOP: 71430-2H251-C3
RH BOTTOM: 714120-2H321-C3
LH BOTTOM: 71420-2H320-C0
NOT CONFIRMED
price: ???
rear seats part numbers:
BOTTOM: 71560-2B471-C2
RH TOP: 71480-2H430-C0
LH TOP: 71490-2D210-C0
NOT CONFIRMED
price: ???

- susperstrut suspension parts conversion (probably not worth doing...)
same category like Beams swap parts...

- 15" 5-spoke rims
IPB Image
part numbers:
15x7 rim: 42611-2B220 (according to EPC "H" type rims)
NOT CONFIRMED
price: ???

That's a very comprehensive list you've got there... Only about half of it would ring up at partznet.com however... Toyotaworld may be a better option though.

And the climate control won't be much good with out all of the servos and sensors that go along with it. Otherwise, good job.

Hmm Malpaso.. Do you happen to have a JDM Vin #? When I go to my dealership.. and ask for these part # They'll ask for a JDM Vin.

Also Great POST! I Freaking love it.. Ive always wanted to my car a SSIII Replica minus the Engine lol. Ive always thought that the SSIII was just the 6pc lip kit, spoiler block, and SSIII Grill.

if you already own a 98-99 .. you can just get a 01 corolla s steering wheel and order a 98 jdm mr2 shift knob to replicate those parts ..

if you want silver dash just paint it .. i would get wheel paint in graphite or silver as it is durable and will match 98 trim .. i have 98 trim (which is only for rhd) and all toyota did was paint trim silver it is black on back side ..

btw .. from what i have heard the plastic door sills for plates are no longer available .. the were roughly 150 for both sides new ..

Many people ask me for this so posting info again in this topic wink.gif

It's about 95% sure, Japan cars has NO 17character VIN like European and US models. There is just "frame number", so no one here searching for JDM VIN will not succeed... here are some frame numbers of JDM celicas (taken from one Japan web)

6th gen.

I have also some other SS-III frame numbers from 6gc.net members, but without permission I'll not post it... wink.gif

However, my local dealer can't order any part via those numbers... kindasad.gif (maybe US members will be more successful), so part numbers or 17characters VIN are still needed for me... frown.gif

any numbers on front turn signals?
will they fit st models?

If you mean those:

IPB Image

I have them from the stock, so I have never searched that part number (that's not the problem) and there is no way how confirm it (that is problem, because even Toyota don't have info about color of parts like this. So it's just "almost sure")

Now about fit... Problem is not about ST/GT models, problem is year of made and market.
JDM/EUROPE - There are two part numbers (actually four, two for left side and two for right side):

for models 93-95
RH 81511-20730
LH 81521-20730

for models 96-99
RH 81511-20680
LH 81521-20660

I have 96 Euro model with clear ones -> my vote are 81511-20680 and 81521-20660 numbers.

Now IMPORTANT thing: front turns for pre- and post-lift models are different!!! They have different shape!
Can you see that?

IPB Image

Now american market...

USDM - Same like JDM/EDM (two groups):

for models 93-95
RH 81511-20740
LH 81521-20740

for models 96-99
RH 81511-20780
LH 81521-20720

Here I can't help you more (I'm not familiar with USDM models much) kindasad.gif .

Good job, SS-II, SS-III and "TOM'S" lip

however I tried that part number 08154-20090 but they told me "doesnt exists" (not "discontinued" like for some other parts I wanted)... confused.gif

Did anyone eventually found out the partnumber of that lip?
And does anyone know which lip this is:
PZ402-14440-AB?
I got the number from the other topic on JDM parts :
JDM Part Numbers and FAQ's, GT4 Front End, Projectors, Tails, Etc.
It's named
JDM OEM Lip

Nope (w/o customizing)... see difference:

this is 94-95 bumper...
IPB Image

...and this is 96+ one (your essential problem in the circle)
IPB Image

because SS-III splitters fits to this "curve" well

edit: however should be done. see this article

now bit promo biggrin.gif , PM Alan he has one for sale (pic here)... taken from real SS-III wink.gif. Maybe you will have a deal...

Your dealer just can't order JDM parts... ALMOST ALL PART NUMBERS ARE CONFIRMED, and about 80% parts I alerady ordered myself for friends or my celica via those numbers...

Malpaso,

I have some questions. Are those the numbers for the SS-III blocks without the gt-four writing in them?
And have you checked the prices lately to see if it was with or without the spoiler?

Price of 750$ is for the raiser blocks. Cuz i clearly know what in EU Dealerships they cost about 250Eu each.

I can supplie Raiser Blocks without GT-four writing for 180$ shipped (pair ofcorse)

^^^ Take a look up and you will see what SSIII came equiped with teh Riser Blocks.

GT-Four from 94 till 98 (WRC models i think) came with the blocks what had a Writing kinda pressed in them.
After 98 GT4's came with the blocks what has a GT-Four sticker on the blocks.

SSIII from 98 came with the blocks you can see in the pics ^up.

I can supplie either Blocks with the GT-Four writing pressed in them or just clean blocks WITHOUT any writing on them.

SSIII / or 98-99 GT-four Stickers can be ordered at Dealerships.

Seems I made (thanks to local dealer) "mistake". Those numbers I have posted...

...are not from JDM SS-III celica but from Euro GT-four. That means numbers are right, but there are GT-four raiser blocks for Euro GT-four -> with pressed GT-Four writing. That's why I looked again (and better) for real SS-III raiser's numbers and I have found interesting thing. In EPC for JDM models are raisers shown like this:

IPB Image

And there is just one part number only for that... so it must be part number for spoiler(wing) and raiser blocks together!!! See what i got below:

02/94-10/94 (WRC models) 76085-20918
09/93-08/95 (All liftback models) 76085-20915*, 76085-20920*
08/95-12/97 (All liftback models) 76871-20911*
12/97-08/99 (GT-four and SS-III) 76870-20916 -> so far... seems this is what we are really looking for
12/97-08/99 (SS-I and SS-II) 76871-20911

This is complete list for JDM models (everything you can find). Two post, three post, w or w/o raisers,... And numbers with '*' are same for Euro and US market as well!!! There are no other numbers for non-JDM markets but those "mistake" GT-four Euro raisers. I'll check everything with Toyota dealer today and I'll let you know wink.gif. I like mysteries biggrin.gif.

note: whether I'm right or not, best way still is just buy replicas from doGGy (for three reasons):
1. you mostly already have just spoiler
2. price is much lower than genuine part
3. you know what you buying for sure...

EDIT: I have some info from Toyota (Europe) about that:
- If I would like to buy just raiser blocks only chance are those Euro GT-four I mentioned first time
- All spoilers above can be ordered, but for some of them they can't guarantee what exactly will come (because they guarantee parts for local market only), so no one would know for sure if will come just spoiler or with raisers... complete list what you can find (for hatch) you can see below:

02/94-10/94 (WRC models) 76085-20918
pure JDM part, rare and bloody expensive! About $3900... What that should be? Just spoiler??? I can't believe that...
09/93-08/95 (All liftback models) 76085-20915, 76085-20920
common US, JDM and Euro parts. Both just two post spoilers, price $1100
08/95-12/97 (All liftback models) 76871-20911
common US, JDM and Euro parts. Just three post spoiler, price $1050
12/97-08/99 (GT-four and SS-III) 76870-20916
pure JDM part, no other info available kindasad.gif, price $1350. But if you want my opinion, I believe it's really spoiler with raiser blocks (w/o letters) cuz there is no other way how get them for JDM celica.
12/97-08/99 (SS-I and SS-II) 76871-20911
same three post spoiler like above, price $1050

02/94-06/96(GT-four raiser blocks) RH: 76088-20914, LH: 76087-20916
are available only for European market (not JDM parts), price is $750 for pair
11/93-08/99(All liftback models) PZ402-14451-AB
Euro dealer option two post spoiler, available for European market. Spoiler is a lot smaller (left in the picture below), can't be used with raiser blocks!!!

IPB Image

so... I would need edit my topic a bit about SS-III spoiler... thanks for comments (and thanks to Gerald for pics wink.gif).

any numbers on front turn signals?
will they fit st models?

I can confirm that the numbers below are for the ones on the picture. I ordered these and they are the ones from the picture.

81511-20680
81521-20660

Nope, the clear brake light is not an OEM part, it is custom-made by a member on here (wolfie).

QUOTE

Ditto. OEM clear turns are only available as an option for the facelift front, which was fitted to cars manufactured between 1996 and 1999. Clear turns for 93-95 cars are available as a custom job from wolfie.

You need both bits.

bumper- yes
door sills- i think have been discontinued and weren't ever available on the us market (correct me if i'm wrong)
gauges- i believe they are quite a bit different than usdm gauge clusters. plus they are only available in kilometers not mph. for white gauges your best bet is to get some reverse glow gauges from either speedhut.com or procarparts.com. speedhut has more and better options but is almost double the $$$.
i hope that helps

you need to order 2 of the same part.. the seal doesn't go inside the hole at all, it just surrounds the light. if you have jdm fenders, the side repeaters snap in very tight and is very snug in the hole (shouldn't leak in imo).

Yea, I've seen pictures of those before and they are clearly different to both the metal ones and the standard unbranded plastic.

As an aside, here are current UK prices for the parts listed earlier in the thread.
