I work at A.P.E. , and we just moved to a new building from Burbank, to Rosamond, CA. It is right next to Willow Springs Raceway! There was a track day at the Streets of Willow and i went up for my lunch break and there it was! A black right hand drive skyline with its hood open. There were tons of cars there, from sti's Evo9 Mr's, mr2 t. and many more, but i went straight for the skyline. It was the GT-R twin turbo edition. The owner was really cool, he's a Japanese guy that lives in arcadia, but was up at the track for a few laps. We talked for a while and he told me it took him almost two years to get that thing street legal. They had to change a lot of things to make it dot legal. But right after he did, he got a HKS turbo kit, cams... the works! IM SOO PISSED I DIDNT HAVE MY CAMERA!!!! man... sorry guys but your just gonna have to imagine a Black 98 skyline with the stock wing, clean body kit, gold brembos and a set of gun metal volks... awsome!

there's a few here too.. but a lot were being resold i guess to either make profit, or that the owners finally understand that ordering replacement parts (more often especially being a 17 yr old car) is almost impossible unless they're shipped from overseas.

I LOVE R33's! those are like almost non-existent in the US though, Skylines in the US are mostly R32's and some R34's. I saw an R32 at Bimmerfest East in '04...

Targa top, six speed, leather, single turbo Supra! That's what I wanted since... well since they were still making them. Darn Fast and the Furious for making them popular and expensive! maybe I'll go the Lexus route....

I dislilke the skyline, I think its an overhyped, heavy, childs car.
Its a PS2 on wheels, no skill driving it.

An old style car, or an elise. A true car for the spirit of driving. But thats me, i think the idea of "grass is always greener" is kinda what playts with the skyline.

Skylines are nice, but Soarers are nicer.

On the interstate last weekend, Nate, Jack, and myself saw a 2nd gen Toyota Soarer GT Twin-Turbo (1991-1995 w/ 1JZ-GTE 2.5L Twin Turbo engine). This body style:

So yeah, right hand drive, looked fully modified, altered suspension, very loud hi-power type exhaust. An older American couple driving it, which was the oddity. Anyway, it was sex. Pure sex.

A 1997 r33 gt-s through work, and yourself? I didnt get to drive, but I rode in the white Apex-i r34 one here in so-cal a long time ago it was an interesting ride. felt heavy and after the tires begin to give and brakes fade going downhill it just kinda creeped me out (but then agian I wasnt driving and most passengers feel the same).

The electronics and everything else inside the r-34 make me feel the same way as I do about the evo and the STI. Computer controlled cars, cars they adjust themselves when a driver makes a mistake. Doesnt help someone learn to drive, it compensates for them being retards. (not calling owners of said cars retards) All because its not sold here, doesnt make it a god car. Thats why I never understood whye everyone freaks out about the supra as well. And im sure someone will post IT CAN MAKE 1000hP OMG. So can a vette but they arnt widley obsessed over. A car is a car, its how you enjoy it is the point.

The PS2 comment was taken from top gear, and I couldnt think of a better way to put it.

Gs300 + mr2 for the win.

Noo, its more pink with a purple tinge...like think of just Pink then add a dash of purple for a transition. Its a werid colour...like a not fully ripened red grape. still hot though.

To add to the post, I've seen a midnight purple R32 around NYC, once in the bronx where like 8 squad cars literally boxed it in while parked and another time while it was heading towards the FDR. I was surprised to see it here on the street out of other places it could show up.

That car is sex..

Its hard enough to find good Ol' Schools.

Especially straight Cressidas and MKII supras for cheap.
