I guess I'll also introduce myself a bit too. My name is Corey and Ive been a member for almost a year. Love the site! It has so much useful information and all you other member are so helpful and (for the most part) dont b*tch about things that have been asked in the past (unlike some other forums)

I havent really had to worry about water too much except when I wash her. The couple of times I did the engine was pretty hot. I give it a few minutes but still...Not too worried about dust because everytime I was the car, soap drips down into the engine bay, so I just open her up and give it a quick spray.

But even if its rainy outside and you don't have the cover on it doesn't bother nothing at all. Mine came with a cover that you screw under the hood and it covers the holes.
