laugh.gif omg i just can't believe that, was hilarious and i can't believe how impatient those people are, can't be bothered to find another way, seen a lot of those people around where i live, they run a red light just cause they can't wait a few minutes longer, and my pet hate is people tailgating me, today some van thought that he was fast on the freeway, was right up my rear, meanwhile i was close to a "P plater" already, hahaha little did he realize he was messing with a Celica, let's just say he was way way behind soon after biggrin.gif

I don't get it. What exactly are those? Do they only let certain drivers pass, or..?

that's awesome... hahahaa
i'm not suprised how people are willing to try and get through.. i mean, many drivers are just naturally impatient on the road.

Honestly, did anyone ever consider that these people just didn't realize they were in the wrong lane? Maybe they just didn't see what was going on? I think those things shoudn't be used, why can't they just use the arm looking thingy?

That system pass just city vehicles, so no other drivers are allowed ride through. However there are some "smart" or let's say "confused" ones who try pass through right behind some city vehicle... They just try smile.gif. Particularly that first one knew there are those barriers! You can see that!

I'm not advocating stupidity in any way shape or form, but there MIGHT be a couple of problems with calling these people stupid.

1.) It is possible that people could not see the posts because the vehicle in front of them obstructs their view.

2.) It is possible that people are just not familiar with the concept. I for one have never encountered such retractable posts and I would be seriously pissed if my car was mauled because I was in the wrong lane and didn't realize it.
