Ive been looking at this two Apexi controllers and i am very interested in them. I would like to adjust my fuel curves in hopes of getting the engine (3sgte) to run smoother. I wanted to know a few things...
What website can i go to that has a comprehensive outline of how to use either of the controllers? which would you recomend between the two? and lastly, are they hard to use? I know it depends on the user, but i wanted to know if this is something that could be picked up after a few hours studying the instructions, or if i should just leave it alone and let a Professional mess with it for me? Any help would be appriciated, thanks! |

for the most part... dont buy one.
they are very easy to use, but can be VERY dangerous with a 3sgte motor, unless you really know what you are doing. just giving it to any "professional" that doesnt know about the 3s, could give you some bad results. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

I think they are pretty much the same thing, the Neo gives you 4 more RPMs to tune at and you can choose in 50 RPM incriments instead of 200 (I think that's what the SAFCII has). the case for it looks better and is smaller. other than that, same thing. really simple to use, you just pick which RPM you want to modify at and choose how much you want to modify it (+ or - 50%)

the led mod only works on a 3s, and from what i hear, the safc knock monitoring never worked right.
