I still have my 97...but,...I got the 2000 GT-S w/47k miles, black leather, power everything,6-speed,sunroof,etc for only $8,500...in my eyes it was a steal. I put new rims on my 97...you can see it in the back of the photo.

If anyone knows where I can get a TRD action package kit made out of the same material as a stock bumper let me know! PLEASE! tongue.gif

Oh leave the guy alone. That is ultra low miles on a 2000 Celica, and it is faster and newer than what he has now. To each his own, as they say.

Welcome to the DARK SIDE!!! or should I say..... the FASTER side.

Don't try to hit LIFT before the engine warms up. 3 clicks from start up. You and I are one of the lucky ones, Redline is 7800 but rev limiter is 8350. Be careful about miss shifting, thats the issue with the C60 Transmissions. Also... I have a 2000 GTS as well!!!! I did the same thing as you... in my eyes 78K, Leather, Power Everthing GTS for $3500 is a damn STEAL.

Thanks. Lol. Yea...I'd def love an action package on it. I bought my 97 when I was 18 with 57k on it...I will be 25 in January and it now has 173k...I just had the motor in the 97 almost fully rebuilt and the transmission replaced along with the clutch at 156k. Granted my 97 will still probably last me a few more years and I could even go as far as replacing the motor in it...but,NH has a stupid emissions law so if I get caught with a turbo in a non turbo car...or with a motor swap... I will fail my inspection...I just figured the GT-S SCREWS on the highway. I already beat a RSX Type-S,A Civic Si,a Mazda 626,One of the new Altimas ... and I've only had it a day. My gf is wicked impressed because the seats are mad comfortable and the car has such low miles. I obviously will still see you guys at all the Toyota meets...but like I said...this was a STEAL, the KBB is much higher than what I got it for... The only reason I didn't buy a Supra... I get to deal with 2 feet of snow during winter and I already have 2 other cars.

But,the good news... I have a 7afte turbo header and a custom FMIC for sale with yellowtop supra injectors!!

I'm going to take pics later today and post them.

IMO Action Package < WW/TRD Lip Kit < Molly Lip Kit.

I have yet to the full potential of my GTS from a dig, I have no 2nd Gear =] LOL. Although Highway pulls scare me at times, LIFT is a drug...

I have a AEM CAI, Borla catback, DC Header, Yellow Fogs, 17x8 5Zigen FN01RC [14LB]
As soon as I get another C60 Transmission I will upgrade to a Fidaza Flywheel [8LB] and Southbend Clutch. And alot of suspension upgrades... hahahaha

This car takes time to get used to and I am taking the advice of other 00 GT-S owners and not hi-revving or lifting before 2 clicks over on startup as far as waiting for the engine to warm up and treating it like a turbo. I love how this car rev's up like a sports bike and just releases and takes off...I will never own another car that is NOT Toyota. tongue.gif

When your VERY comfortable with the car and shifting, try landing lift from 1st-2nd. Takes alot of practice, you will need to slip the clutch some to achieve this. Shift late 8350 to be exact. The non stop surge of lift from 1st to 4th is fun...

I love being able to just blow people away. Have you changed your lift bolts to the new style ones?Other people keep asking me about it.

Haha! I too bought a 7th gen, 2000 GTS 6 speed, leather. And holy **** your guys' cars are cheap!

I bought mine with 124,000Km's on it (77k Miles) for $13,500 Canadian(Which is DAMN cheap for us!)!

IPB Image

I havent changed my lift bolts yet either, and am not sure if the guy before me has. But once i see problems with lift I'l definately change it. It wont HURT it, it just wont let you engage lift therefore no fun past 6200 RPM's.

Its always advised to change it, New Version 3 Lift bolts are available at your local dealership. Broken bolts can cause further damage such as metal pieces going to who knows where in your engine..

I didn't need to worry mine since its a replacement engine =[ 03 Vibe according to carfax
