Do you have pics of the aero turbine muffler installed? I've always wanted to see how it would look on our cars.

And I would personally leave it stock body. Put that factory spoiler back on! wink.gif

Guys, don't hate on the spoiler. He is only 16. Hey, if you like the spoiler than cool, but just to pass on what I have discovered. The older you get, and the more you fall in love with JDM, the more you are going to want to keep it stock and JDM looking. I dunno why, but it happens. Plus the only reason why they give you a hard time is for one, the spoiler is a bit big for the car, 2, it was from like 95/96' and so many people have put it on their car since way back when, and third, even though there aren't many spoiler options for our cars, spoilerless, maybe a duckbill spoiler, gt4 spoiler, stock spoiler, or TRD spoiler are all excellent choices.

Just to relate, I am not a HUGE fan of Honda/Acura. But I tell you this. You take an Acura, and keep it stock looking, with some clean rims and good suspension to preserve that JDM look. Maybe go Type R, and that car will always be special, no matter who is behind it. Doesn't need a kit to stand out. People can always appreciate a clean looking car, even if stock in appearance. Maybe Initial D made us that way, and us Americans who take it beyond and look into doing things to our car that would require some Soy Sauce have Initial D to thank for that. I dunno. But always loving that stock look now, only rims can add that small amount of flavor needed, and maybe some paint or effects.

Just to shed light on why people say to ditch the spoiler. That's all. But TAKE your time and do it right. Part of the fun is saving up and appreciating every lil bit you have to put into that car. Trust me.

Age isn't really an excuse. If he wants to rock a spoiler like that, fine, but it's ugly and a waste of money to me. I'm 18, but that doesn't mean I feel the need to put on a slightly smaller wing than his.

Just saying that usually the younger ones want the craziness on the car and not a SaLEEKa celica. When I was younger, I wanted that craziness. Now I like a car stock with slight crazy. Everyone I am around agree they were the same, so I just figured.

you seriously need to simmer down.

im not a fan of the wing myself, however, the proper approach to that would be more like this:

good luck on modding your car.
the wing is not my taste, but whatever suits you is what is important.

hasnt anyone ever told you
"if you dont have somthing nice to say, dont say anything at all" ?

Terbear- Welcome! I'd just like to say if you like something for your car nothing should hold you back. It is your car, who is anybody else to tell you what to do with it? Your spoiler is unique, I've never seen one like that one a 6gc before.

I think you should look into curren tails, they look better than the ones that USDM celis come with. biggrin.gif

Be sure to post up some pics of that kit when you get it on!

and do what you want to your car.
I thought they only made the invader kit for hatchbacks, not coupes, but I could be wrong.

auto or manual ?

well, the spoiler indeed i think its too big. You know they make a two post spoiler for the coupe. You may want to look into that.

The only reason i rather go stockish jdm is not to attract to much police attention. But i respect your taste. I cannot decide between TRD and toms lip, i got both. It will be a while before i put something on. But i buy the things that are rare on the opportunity.

I bought my Matrix Theory Rims and waited 6 months to use them. Look around for good deals, even if you have to wait. I am waiting for cahs influx so i can have my bumpers done professionally. And i just keep looking for deals!!!!

GL, and just watch and learn, biggrin.gif

Nice to see you starting a fun and new hobby.

I put on a big supra spoiler on when I was 16 and everyday I wish I could take it off.

Good luck with the project, seems like you know what you want and thats always a good thing!

Dude, my brother used to have that exact same spoiler on his accord. It's kinda funny because it was first on my cousin's Dodge Avenger, then he took it off and sold it to my other cousin, who put it on his Nissan 240SX, then we put it on my brother's accord. Now we took it off because it's outdated. I definitely used to think it was so dope, but times have change and you will find more people hating on it then liking it. Anyways, welcome to the modding world, you will soon find that your taste will grow very different as you see other people's cars and the way they do things.

so i know a lot of people have hit you on the spoiler but i think although i don't like it for myself it does not look bad, and as for the age conversation i disagree as i am 33 and as you see from me car i love the invader kit and big wings, in fact i am working on building a custom spoiler based off my gt4 raiser blocks and stock two post to make a bi level one. i guess what i'm trying to say is this is your car and it looks good but as long as you love it then its right, keep up the good work!
