I have a Federal 5SFE what's the difference between the California and Federal?

Emissions controls, primarily a second catalytic converter under the body in California models.

as well as full sequensial injection on the cali models, and diffrent injectors (which means a diffrent head.)

california heads are different? injectors i can understand, but a compleatly different head? that a big change
