So I was going to keep this on the DL... but I couldn't resist sharing some photos etc.
I drove 14 hours in two days to go pick this car up and now it will be my DD. The 3S still sits and waits for time and money etc. So here she is.... (there are two cars pictured, both black so don't get them mixed up.. one is the coupe I just got and one is the 3S hatch I've had for a while) the drive there...     The car at my house (3S in the background)  The Hatchback 3S all apart...                 Some of you I'm sure will recognize this car... Anywho I took the JDM High's and Lows from the 3S and put them on as well as the HID's for the Lows.. I need to clean some things up a bit and do some small things here and there before I get back to school, but otherwise she should be good. I'm going to put my 17x8 TSW rims and tires on there since they are better and have more tread and no bulges etc. Also I really don't like gold that much.. ohh snap, you bought dafts car!!
i painted that car in single stage jesse, just so you know, no wet sanding and buffing allowed, you'll kill the pearl in it.

Manny the paint is gorgeous, you will have some business when the hatchback goes red Unfortunately somebody keyed the car before i got it on the driver side from the taillight to the driver door... through to the primer in most of it..

Congrats on the new ride.. IMO the gold rims go good with the black paint.. but then again you like what you like! The car looks awesome either way im sure.

Yea gold isn't bad but the rims have some curb damage and the tires need to be replaced, my rims are wider and only have about 2-4k miles on them... so its the logical choice.. but really i'm still not a big fan of gold.. haha to each his own i guess.. but the more i think about it and look at the car the gold doesn't look bad! here is why i need to change them..

Also if i want to be somewhat legal with an engine swap all i need an engine same year or newer.. so it makes it easier if i have 94's instead of 98's or 99's etc. Oh come on T-Bone, the neon looks killah sweet! nahht haha one of the first things i did was move the front piece further up under the bumper, it was hidden by the Euro lip that is now in need of repair. just one question. why a coupe, and more importantly, why an ST? gas milage? or just a deal you couldnt refuse? at any rate, good deal, glad to see you back and posting for awhile. before you do ANYTHING to your swap car, make sure you get ahold of dustin and i, we've got some things up our sleeves your gonna wanna be a part of before you do anything to it.

Well I was driving around town and parked the car, got out and had the pleasant sound of air leaking out of my driver rear tire... serious leak, i got to my buddies before it was totally flat and filled it up, planning to drive home to get my other rims... well 5 min later it was dead flat again... so we took his jeep and ran over to get my rims and i put them on... sooner than anticipated... oh well atleast they are on, but i need to roll the fenders now since these are 8in wide and rub when i hit deep holes etc.

I was gonna say...but that actually doesn't look bad, might consider it. But is it different for hatchback spoilers, since you also have the third brake light on the spoiler and not on the hatch?
