I was doing about 3miles an hour in my road on a corner and its about 2inch of snow...car didnt turn straigh up a curb and head on into a lamp post. Its going to be an expensive month.......

sorry to hear man...doesn't really matter what speed your going in the snow, it can still get you somewhere you don't want to be

ewwwwwwwwww. sorry man, its terrible to see any celi in that state. Hope you get it fixed soon! looks just like its the bumper, but make sure the radiator isnt busted and the frame isnt bent.

Well the bonnet seems to be ok but as its 1:30 am i cant really tell. If thats the case then i hope the slam pannel is ok and the bumper just took it all. The projectors are fine which was my main concern.

i would do what 95 said and pull the bumper and pop it back out use a heat gun if you have to

Oh man... That sucks! I hate the snow too. It's not Celica-friendly. I'm snowed in at my house right now. I can't go anywhere. If I tried, I know I'd end up a lot worse... Hopefully you can get that fixed pretty cheap. Since you weren't going too fast, it might not be too bad. And thank god the projectors survived!

But yeah, looks like a new bumper and probably crash bar. Might have to get it sprayed as red is hard to match....

Im so sorry buddy. First thing i checked was the projectors and they were ok....then i was like...shiiiiiiiiiiit luke is guna be pissed!

Haha i was thinking exactly the same about the stone chips! If im really lucky just a new bumper will sort it but need to have look. It still drives ok and didnt see any steam so hopefully the radiators ok.

Yer i almost did exactly that this morning. Freakin cyclists don't realise that it's hard for a car to avoid them when going round a corner sideways and they're in the middle of the road. Like everyone above says the damage seems confined to the front bumper. Did it bend the chassis bar thing that the radiator fixes on to?

Managed to get the stuff from a guy ok CCUK called nix for £60 inc P+P. Thats for a pre-facelift red bumper and a crash bar

I know how you feel, believe me. I crashed my Celica just last week. Just waiting for the engineer from the insurance company now...

Think it's gonna be written off tho as need new bonnet, driver's side wing, new bumper and driver's headlight. Managed to source most of the parts except the headlight!! As rare as rocking horse sh*t!!

Well i sorted out the new bumper on saturday with Dan23 from CCUK.






what a fun job fittign the bumper was, we had to cable tie the pipe for the jets out the way, and cable tie the fog in for now, its all gotta come off again for the re spray so it doesnt matter, whats important is it doest look terrible now.

and of course i couldnt resist getting a little photo shoot

















EDIT : I dont know if its just my screen but the car looks sorta purple...i assure you all its still very much red!!!!!

Yeah i did actually just kick it out and popped out no probs! Needs to be heated abit i think just to get it perfect but its certainly useable again and probably in better nick than the other one lol.

Im off to a body shop this lunchtime to find out about a respray!

Haha it needs a clean but the weather has been awful so not really been much point recently but ill get on the case soon!!!

i have the same problem not as bad though everytime it snows i seam to mess up my car. first snow burnt up my transmission fixed it with oil second snow had my new rims on for two days and hit a curb due to the wheels not turning (wasnt even going fast) bent my rim and popped my tire and blew up my transmission. that still sucks about your car way worse
