After all and under all circumstances I have made final decision what happen with my celis. I can not afford two of them but both has many advantages (one design and second power and traction). So I have only chance... two became one. The best from each will be taken. I hope in two months will be everything finished so stay tuned...

The plan:
- to separate all "fancy" parts from ST-T (done!)
- collect all parts for transformation and get GT-four ready (done!)
- pass LHD conversion with GT-four (I know it hurts... but this is only way how to register car in CZ)
(done!)
- finish paint job...
(done!)
- tune new baby a bit smile.gif
(in progress)

Major work will do no one else but Romas him self smile.gif . The best of the best for something like this... here I have few pics to share:

August, 30th:
Collection of parts for conversion has started... (complete LHD dash)

September, 2nd:
Conversion date fixed, list of parts closed, conditions set... I'm full of optimism smile.gif . Everything is perfect biggrin.gif . Fingers crossed... wink.gif

To be continued... biggrin.gif

Good progress! This is coming along pretty quick. I'm disappointed to see the destruction of the original SS-Four. But I know something better is coming up, and I can't wait to see it come together! Best of luck to you.

I have some updates again. I have all parts for conversion ready and now just collecting the rest for sale. As fast as possible because every single penny will be needed smile.gif. So yes side skirts, bumper, hood, fenders and many other parts are available. Just make your dibs via PM smile.gif.

September 9th:

engine is out...

"Lord of destruction" at work...

And result what has left... so I have definitely just one car to drive again.

Now small maintenance of "remaining one" smile.gif. You would not believe how exhaust may look after years frown.gif

Final confirmation... this is SS-four! biggrin.gif (because front bumper was shaped on ST support bar with custom bracket it was necessary to re-weld it as well. On original GT-four one just was not fit)

Speechless.

Wish I could have your sunroof though!

Is that shell going to be junk? Or rebuilt into a stock ST ? I ask this because you still have the same problem with having 2 cars and only 1 LHD firewall and running gear.

I plan to sell whole sunroof as "kit". So part of roof plus complete working mechanism with wiring... I hope it will be useful for someone because shell is going to be junk... no rebuild is planned.

September, 14th:
A lot happened... I have completely prepared car for The Transformation (see there is really 3SGTE inside smile.gif). All body parts are on, two drivers seats inside (guess why wink.gif)...

...and loaded in the car (even Romas didn't believe it's possible until he saw that smile.gif)

Final surprise was when I have reached his place... My SS-Four met sister there!!! biggrin.gif (based on SS-III with beams inside). My car must be really famous abroad wink.gif

However now is my baby in his hand s and next progress is up to him now... so fingers crossed smile.gif

Oh come on man...American indeed. wink.gif

England drives on the left side...and I think a few other countries do as well. I believe Monaco does. But yes, it is apparently illegal to have a RHD vehicle in the Czech Republic.

To SwissFerdi: In Europe are three countries where driving on left side of the road: UK, Malta and Cyprus. Rest is right side of the road...

To
97celiman: Driving RHD car in CZ (or other LHD countries) it's not quite illegal. I drove with my car as RHD car in LHD countries over 5000miles. Been pulled over by police 4x because they were just curious to see steering wheel on the other side smile.gif. Checked papers and done. However need to say I had UK plates on car. With local registration on RHD car I would need to have special permission from government (not kidding). I talked to THE guy who is giving those permissions via phone and he said I have no chance having it kindasad.gif (because I do not meet all conditions they want like owned car 6month before import etc.). I do not have any issue with RHD cars (after 5000miles on LHD roads smile.gif) so I would keep it as is... however after that phone call I had just one choice. That's whole story.

To
ja_ma: smile.gif agree white is damn nice color. Unfortunately very hard to keep it clean good looking and (you would be surprised) is for me cheaper to change color than keep it in white and follow my SS-four design wink.gif.

and just to be clear...america is lhd? when we say lhd and rhd we are talking about the side of the car the steering wheel is on...not which side you drive on in the country...my brain cannot wrap itself around this crazy concept

Yes LHD (left hand drive) means the side the steering wheel is on.

In the UK we drive on the left side of the road, steering wheel is on the right hand side and its not illegal to drive LHD cars on our roads smile.gif which is good as I really want to get a Mustang!!!

So you transferred everything in front of the A pillars, body wise, to the GT-4? That is a ridiculous amount of work.

re... of course there are moved (license plate frame is good and visible example smile.gif. What I must say (I know it's crazy) LHD gives me less fun than RHD. After about 5000miles with RHD my left hand wants to shift (so I hit many times doors now smile.gif), I'm using wiper instead turn signals and... already twice hit a curb with wheel (because car is on wrong side again biggrin.gif)). If Chris reads this he must smile because first thing I did driving RHD was hitting curb with passanger's side front wheel smile.gif. So yes it's weird driving LHD car again biggrin.gif and I feel less unique wink.gif

here I have more pics from "JDM heaven" wink.gif

and my next year submission for calendar picture lol

laugh.gif yep, then just after that it was the end of the first road when you turned out onto the wrong side.
Me: "Ummm Martin other side"
Martin: "What"
Me: "You need to be on the other side of the road"
Martin: "Ahh yes..." *swerve* "this is going to take a bit of getting used to!" biggrin.gif

You soon got the hang of it though mate, so I'm certain that you'll soon be comfortable with the LHD again. wink.gif

It looks fantastic anyway Martin, you must be really pleased! I'm very jelous that you have such a good place to spray the car. It looks perfectly colour matched with the old parts. I really want a respray now!

Hi Mate smile.gif. It's simple. LHD car with UK plates looks suspicious (imagine for example PL plates on RHD car) so I have registered car in LT before trip home (I was driving it home my self through whole Poland so it was necessary). Now managing registration here.

Now I'm playing with many thing in the car (current job is interior illumination change to red/white LEDs). Car is dirty and not much photogenic smile.gif. Only I have is just few crappy pic from cell phone...:

I bought new Yokohama winter tires and painted old GT-four rims to make "winter wheels set" for upcoming weather

As noticeable I have side skitrs back on, SS-III splitters as well so full SS-four look is back again smile.gif

Last upgrade was transparent tank lid installation and TRD cup cover smile.gif

vincent_doggy sells them. Many members have them including me. The old one isn't fun to take off, but once you get the old screws off and new clip on it's easy work smile.gif.

It's just an idea for winter time smile.gif. For the rest of the year I will use different ones. It is not powdercoated. I have heard it's "fragile paint" for rims and it can crack when you scratch (the curb for example) easily. So just special wheel primer and paint been used.

Thanks for support guys... now when car is at home and I can drive it everyday is every progress so slow kindasad.gif . I'm busy at work so not much spare time for my baby left frown.gif .

November, 30th:
Exterior is fully finished and now working on interior. Of course what I miss is my old illumination smile.gif

So now I have installed additional gauges (3 of them are not working because I have not installed sensors yet but they are wired and ready smile.gif ), also working on dash illumination upgrades like LED installation:

And when I have my new speedo at home I will start with cluster as well...

I love how you decided to do your extra dials on the dash and not on the roof column. It make sit look very nice and professional. Just curious, how hard is it to do all the LEDs and what not? I'm still riding on stock green.. and to be honest, I don't like it much lol. Also, which speedometer insert did you use?

Great job so far. I understand how it is not to have a lot of time to upgrade your car. I wish I had more time to do mine.
