Soheres the rundown, my car was parked on a busy street during long weekend, and when i came back to my car, i found that someone decided to key the entire car, damn haters, so of course i claimed in with the autopac and yup i got enough money to have it repaired plus extras, so i decided on something new

heres wat my car looked like from beginning to now, decided to just put it all up in one thread again to show how many times its been transformed

stock

with rims and clear indicators

blitz front with invader skirts and rear

carbon fibre hood added and rims painted gold

c-one kit with gt-four hood & projectors

gt-four exterior, painted black

will have more updates of my car as the progression goes on, lemme know wat you think of all these looks, im pretty sure the last one is the nicest =)

So you've changed the kit 3 times then? Any reason? Also, if it's the same car, it looks very sleek in black. Very very nice.

well i first put the blitz kit, liked it for a bit then got sick of looking at it, wanted something different, so i got the c-one kit and swapped my motor but the stock hood didnt fit over top the w2a intercooler, so i got the gt-four hood, then there was the problem of the gap in between the hood and the bumper, so i got the gt-four front bumper, added a lip and thats how it sits now

Black GT-Faux = best version for sure. I don't hate the first two kits, for some odd reason...but you can't go wrong with that last version. Nicely done.

Kloudkicka, you know you got one of the sexiest Celicas in the states. I want that front lip. If you decide to ditch it for whatever reason, let me know and save me $600 ordering direct from Japan. Yeah?

Honestly man, I can't see what you would possibly want to change with your car. I absolutely love it, and I think it is flawless right now. I didn't know you were in Canada. Well anyway, I do plan on getting that front lip, lol if you ever want to get rid of it, let me be the first you notify, because I want it. biggrin.gif and I don't feel like trying to translate Eurou website for it.

Haha yea, I sure am, I actually have got some more mods to it since then I order the GT-Four riser blokcs and some other things since you've seen it. What exactly are you doing to your car man? looks like your doing quite the make over. Where are you getting the work done?

kloudkicka--I have just--- "lived vicariously"---in a Celica dream world in this thread!!!When THIS version is completed,I may be finding myself in a comatose state of euphoria & never wanting to wake up!!
At least I'd be driving my Celica in somewhat comparable finish!! biggrin.gif

Good to see you progressing, & thanks for updates........

I like how you are progressing to a nice clean OEM look. Clean and simple will never look bad. The stock GT-Four stying is by far the best you have gone with yet. Cant wait to see pics once it's painted!

i actually got the kit off ebay years ago, and ya alot of work was needed to get it fitted properly, i had to mold the entire kit on just to get it looking good which was a big mistake once it all started to shift and crack

Man. And I thought I had good friends. They only helped me apply decals and put rotors on.. sheesh tongue.gif

Seriously though, this looks great. I like the black top as well. Makes it really stand out. Doesn't a new white paint job have so much depth on this car? I've seriously never seen a car take to white as well as a Celica.

Why not drive around in it now? It's not like you guys have snow atm. It's warm for this time of year for everyone, and I know that while you guys typically have snow now, it's in the 40s and 50s this month. Enjoy it while you can!

It looks great btw. GT-Fours are like the only thing you Canadians have that I'm jealous of.....well besides deadmau5.........and free clinic/hospitals................and my fiancee. tongue.gif Nevermind.

oh your fiancee's in canada? niiiice, and ya i would be driving it right now but i dont wanna take the chance, snow here in winnipeg gets pretty bad, once i drove my car as long as i could and got stuck in the snow cuz it just dropped like crazy out of nowhere, so i dont really take any more chances like that, but ya, and its a pain in the a$$ to cover it up and park in in the spot that i do hehe

How does the Celica do in the snow? I'd imagine it would do great... seaming as it was used in rally races. The front wheel drive versions should do fine as it's not rear wheel drive, and the Celica's footprint is good.

Yea, actually she's from Winnipeg. She's coming down here for good in just a couple weeks biggrin.gif.

Without a doubt, AWD > FWD in snow. However, my dad's office (back when I lived in Switzerland) was halfway up a mountain, and he had to drive on a really steep street in order to get there. In heavy winters, he was usually one of the only ones to make it up in his A4 when his coworkers in Bimmers and Mercs couldn't make it.

Well obviously the AWD are significantly better. However, I was curious if the FWD Celicas did alright.

Btw, if you ever want to trade Celicas, Kloudkicka, lemme know haha. Sigh, man sometimes I really do hate living in the states. tongue.gif

ya my car does pretty good in the winter, but my reasoning for not driving it throughout winter is cuz its a little low for the snow, once when i still had my blitz kit on i drove it through the winter and it felt like i was plowing through the streets haha

The Celi CAN do alright in the snow. It has that potential. However, last winter, I had summer tires on the car, and since the car's a GT 5-speed, all it wanted to do was spin. No matter how lightly I took off. It was an experience. However, I'll be investing in some decent tires for winter before too long. I'll get back to you after the first snow... if it ever gets here. 60* in November? You fail, weather.

Kloudkicka, I don't blame you for not getting that thing out in the snow. You've put a lot of work into it. I wouldn't risk it either!

Soheres the rundown, my car was parked on a busy street during long weekend, and when i came back to my car, i found that someone decided to key the entire car, damn haters, so of course i claimed in with the autopac and yup i got enough money to have it repaired plus extras, so i decided on something new

heres wat my car looked like from beginning to now, decided to just put it all up in one thread again to show how many times its been transformed

stock

with rims and clear indicators

blitz front with invader skirts and rear

carbon fibre hood added and rims painted gold

c-one kit with gt-four hood & projectors

gt-four exterior, painted black

will have more updates of my car as the progression goes on, lemme know wat you think of all these looks, im pretty sure the last one is the nicest =)

what are your first rims called they look nice and you still got them ?

haven't added to this in awhile so i thought i'd add a quick update, some things that happened to my car were, it was in a hit n run while it was parked awhile back so this was the result of that

after a couple weeks being in the shop, a new door was put it and the rear was repaired

i dont have a picture of the door when it first got painted, but lets just say it did not match, meaning, the first guy who painted my car satin pearl white, he did not do it correctly, so what did i do? yuppp full paint job, couple weeks later aaaand

paint was perfect, very happy with the turn out, but only thing i noticed was there was a knocking in the back as i drove, i went to check and i was actually able to lift one side of the spoiler off the block, the body shop did not install the raiser blocks correctly, and thats why my car sits the way it does now............ spoilerless

other things in the works for summer, just need to take some pics

the spoilerless look is better than a gt4/ss3 riser blocks. the oem spoiler sits way to high.

Rated @ 140, ouch. Epic wheels too. As for spacers, it would be more easily judged with the addition of a shot of the front of the car, along the side to show the offset.

I think you're good without spacers.
