Is there a company that make pipings for the 3sgte swapped celicas or do people usually get their own piping done at your local shop? Thanks

I think most get the universal kits and alter it to suit the application.

Well those ebay kits are garbage...at least that's what everyone's sayin. Even mr2 guys aren't biting lol. I'm not going to touch those ebay kits. If anything, I'm going to my local performance shop to have them do the work lol. Thanks, just looking to see if there are any kits out there. I thought maybe Dr Tweak might have something but he doesn't

Just fab your own like Manny and call it a day. Mild steel aint too bad to work with. Thats what manny does, unless weight is an issue and you want aluminum tubing. I plan to just get some mild steel for my next build and weld them. You can go ebay if you want a **** ton couplers.

Only thing with mild or aluminized steel is rust, which is why I coat the pipes.
The cheap eBay kits use generic aluminum pot metal for the pipes, makes for crappy welding, and most of the times the couplers and clams that come with em are throw away items, meaning you just throw them in the garbage when you get em, cause the quality is that bad. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

I also just bought a bunch of random bends and couplers. Had everything welded up by a work friend. He even said it was tough to weld cause he would hit soft spots in the metal and it would start to burn through.

there is nothing wrong with the aluminum ebay kits. if you have a good fabricator, just take one of those kits to him/her and have the pipe kit made.

i got HKS piping kit for subaru. while every HKS intercooler is above anything in quality terms, the mild steel pipes are ****, internal rust is a big problem with them. even the rubber couplings that come with HKS printed on are ****. so probably ebay would suck also. get aluminum or stainless steel FTW

Bump, found a kit for the ST205 on ebay uk, seems pretty reputable and the ends of the aluminium are belled to hold the adapters better

One piece tig welded aluminum piping is FTW. Couplers are jank.

One piece tig welded aluminum piping is FTW. Couplers are jank. one peice is really the best bet if you want to have zero boost leaks, but there is a downfall... doing one peice piping will make it hard to remove it if your ever had to. for my piping setup im going to do a 2 peice setup, (well technically 4..) one peice of welded piping connecting the turbo to the IC with a cupler in the center of the pipe making it 2 peices for easier installation and removal (if i had to) and the same for the intake manifold. just make sure you have really good cuplers and t-bolt clamps. -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

If you have to remove, cut it and get it rewelded one piece. But yeah two piece ain't bad either, as far as jank I was more talking about the setups with like 8 to 10 couplers...
