Does anyone know the part number or even where I can get an alternator for my 3rd gen 3 sgte?

You should check out the ST-205 facebook page, I see maybe monthly someone parting out theirs. Simply make a WTB post on there.

You can use a GT (5s) alternator.

Is denso the alternator supplier for toyotas? You can get the denso alternator from rock auto.
