I am in the process of gathering information for a 3sgte swap in my convertible. I have been in contact with ASC (American Sunroof) which is the company that chopped the coupe and made it a convertible. Hopefully, I will have some information to post soon. I hope to find that the structural modifications that they did will go along way to addressing ridgity problems, but we'll see.... Either way, I am leaning toward some custom sub-frame connectors like in the URL below. I have a quote of $350 from a local race shop to custom fabricate something similar for the celica. Also, bulletproof sells some bracing which looks promising. See URL below. My thought is that the side tower braces, front strut tower brace and the subframe connectors will be more than sufficient. I will keep you all informed....
