Gonna be swapping very soon, already have EVERYTHING except the engine itself which ill be getting in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
my car is lowered (slammed) and I only have about 3 inches of clearance under car. Im thinking of moving the cats up towards the front or just deleting them, and then doing 3 inch exhaust tucked into the driveshaft tunnel that goes to a y pipe that splits up into 2 inch dual exhaust for the back half of the car, that way I can go over the rear suspension and have 2 small mufflers that won't get torn off if I hit a bump. A single 3 inch from what I've read online is equivalent to having a 2.25" dual exhaust as far as the flow rate, all other things being equal.
So running a 2" you will have some limitations as far as flow rate and performance. It'll basically be like having somewhere between a 2.5" and 3" single, which is fine if you plan on doing nothing to the engine down the line. Shortest, widest exhaust will always make more power than the inverse. It's all about how fast you can get the gasses out of the system. Just trying to keep my hellaflush intact.
