Hey guys!
Been a few years since ive been around the 6gc world, in that time ive gone through school and worked my way up in life. through that time i never forgot the passion i had for my 6gc and told myself one day i would own one again. the day came and the opportunity could not be passed up. over 2000 miles, one college football game(rough night lol) and way too much in toll money got me to my dream, a dream that cant be told with words. so i welcome you, my st205 gt4. (pictures soon to come) ![]() This post has been edited by 4-eyed-freek: Sep 5, 2014 - 8:29 PM -------------------- It takes 8,460 bolts to assemble an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the road.

"small update"
After the axle situation, which wasnt easily resolved like i wished. i had to trailer the car an hour to where i work to put the car on a lift. once in the air it came right out without any issues. i replaced the trans fluid and axle seals while i had it in the air. since i had the car at work i decided to throw it on the alignment rack....ughhh not pretty. i got most of it into somewhat spec* better than what it had been at. My mind then turned to some other little things, but out of no where the ominous super strut clunk came. my thought turned to the figure 8, with help from some great people at tcb in the uk i received my part only to find out that the control arm needed replacement. once again with some great help from 6gc i got a great collection of suspension parts. with all this being said, and the snow begin to fall i have not gotten the car into storage. hopefully within the month i will be able to get the car into storage where the fender will get repainted, brakes rotors will be sand blasted, painted and then turned, install the control arm, installed the rear coils, and undercoat the car. i would like to give a big shout out to luke (enderswift) and dave (dkdmonk) for all the great help they have provided! susper strut parts from dkdmonk ![]() awaiting sand blasting ![]() after blasting ![]() also cleaned the threads up with a wire wheel ![]() primed, and then painted by my best friend. (who will eventually paint the car) ![]() ![]() unfortunately the car was really dirty in this picture but i just happened to snap this neat picture after taking my brother out for a ride. ![]() ![]() -------------------- It takes 8,460 bolts to assemble an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the road.
