 Reverse light problem- automatic transmission |

I'm having a problem with my reverse lights in my 94 auto gt. Brake and tail lights work fine, but the reverse lights only go if I push the gear selector forward and to the right while in R. I searched around on here and found a few threads suggesting the back up switch on the transmission. Is this switch the same on an automatic? Is there any sort of switch on the gear selector? Trying to get this car inspected this week!

d'oh. fixed my own problem. unplugged the harness and plugged it back in and it works great now!

Hi, sorry to bring this thread back, but where did you unplug and replug the harness? Sorry if it's obvious!
