I was just thinking, what if all the problems with the forum are from the bandwith usage? Nearly 20 years of threads is a lot of information... Maybe it's time to do like other forums and clean house and archive threads with useful information and delete the rest? Like could probably save a good bit just by deleting all the old marketplace threads that're more than 30 days without a response, and that'd be easy and immediate since nothing to sift through really.

Older marketplace threads are an excellent source to determine value of parts, especially nowadays that sales are less frequent. The problem with deleting threads is that it's hard to tell what is useful and what is not, not to mention that it would be a very time consuming task. |
