I am wondering what the biggest tire size that will fit a 17 x 7 rims that will fit the Celica? Anything above 225/45/17?

I live in Ohio and these would be used all year round. I understand it may not look as big, but I would raher protect the rims. I did have a 215/40/17 tire on my Accord and the rims got really hit up, plus the ride was horrible. I had a set of 225-45-17's and those worked pretty good. I am trying to not spend extra money if I don't have to.
I might just end up selling or trading the rims and tires I have now for another set. The rims are Konig Tantrum custom gunmetal. I think the tires are Perilli's. |
