Well, Im just about to get my car back from the shop after about 5 weeks not having it. Ive been so depressed by not being able to drive my car that Ive almost given up on boosting my car. So I need some inspiration to continue the project. Post your settups, plans, questions and anything else dealing with the 5sfTe here. Please do not post "Get a 3sgte" comments in this thread. Thank you.

So Itchy, how is highway driving with the turbo setup?? I know that at around 70mph my tach is at 3.5k RPMS....so is constantly boosting taking a toll on the engine whatsoever? I would only consider boosting the 5SFE if it was going to be reliable, but that could be a gamble on a car with 160,000 miles I suppose.
 But you never know, it might work fine since I just got a tune up earlier this spring. I wish you lived closer, then I would have you take me for a ride to experience it first hand. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
