 Which bov, any tips? |

What are some tips when looking for a bov? ill be running about 8 to 10 psi tops.

i have a cheap "monza" one off ebay. its basicly a turboxs knock off but not the rfl.
it would leak at 10psi so i packed the spring more with washers now its fine. it has a Very large woooosh sound. (like a huge toilet flushing  ) hah not that bad.my friend has the RFL on his 3000gt VR4 its really loud but i was talking to the guy at a local tunning shop and he says the rod inside that BOV is really weak and likes to break. i dont know if thats true or not. My other friend with a WRX really loves his HKS ssqv. i like it but he didnt hook up the vaccum line to it so when the BOV goes off its more of a lfuttering high pitch whistle. very cool. but i dont know if its that great for the turbo. If i was going to upgrade id like to get the APEXI dual drive. sounds very nice on the gst i heard it on. -------------------- |
