is it possible to roll up a power window with the switch not working or the motor bein dead. anyway this is possible. i am having a issue with my car that i cant roll up the passenger side window. i want to roll it up manually and just not touch it again you know. i have to leave my window open at night now any help would be great. i checked the switch itself and it worked. so i want to test the connection to the windows because i dont even hear the motor trying to roll up. its not doing nothing. and if it was dying it would atleast make some noise right? thanks

it would be possible to roll it up manually, but if you have the money you should go ahead and replace it because its a little work to get in there.
Power Window Regulator - How To Change thats should give you an idea of how the parts look if you dont want to replace it, you could try switching in the motor from your driver side and see if that rolls it up or you could take the metal plate off the cover where the regulator and motor meet and turn it manually, there may be some sort of service hole to crank it up, but i didnt bother looking for it last time i had it out so im not sure. |
