ok i found this very strange.
whenever i have the trunk opened, the door opened signal in the dash wont come on. why? would it be possible for me to wire up the light in the trunk to the door opened signal in the dash? its because thats a bigggg asssssssss fllllawwwwwwwww to my celi. people can juss open the trunk and the alarm wont go off. whenever i have the trunk opened in the rav4, the light goes on in that car, but not in the celi does this happen to the hatchback people too? -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D

I have hatchback and it works... so IMHO there are two possibilities:
1. convertible celicas do not have sensor there 2. you have it but sensor not working (broken, get jammed, etc.) -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)
