what exactly are you looking for? specifics on the internal workings? general observations?
in my limited experience... the auto tranny makes for a slower car and lags around 90-100mph, its a good deal bigger/heavier, takes more power from the electrical system, is connected to the radiator to cool it, has a dipstick to check tranny fluid level, uses only one shifter cable, has a torque converter with the manual tranny the lag at higher speeds is non-existent, it accelerates steadily until its limit. lighter and there are a good deal of wires that the auto needs which are un-necessary for the manual tranny. checking the tranny fluid seems a little harder and more subjective. but its much more fun This post has been edited by hurley97: Oct 23, 2006 - 11:06 PM -------------------- |
