i was reading that once you pop out the old rod and and start to put the new rod from the quickshift in, that you have to grease up the two seperate ends. i'm wondering what kind of grease should be used? hope this made sense

just wondering...why are you taking out the rod? the TRD quickshifter comes with the entire assembly already greased up and everything
