My lifters are ####
I dont know if it is common for the 7AFE to make the noises my lifter makes after a certain mileage, or what, but i need to know how to fix it. THe lifters sound terrible, its like a clicking noise, not a knock, but a click in every cylinder and im almost positive some previous owner ran the car with almost no oil to create this problem. I hear that changing my oil to a thicker oil will help, but i dont know if i really wanna drop 20w-50 in her yet, i also have seafoam that i could run through it but i dont have time right now. Has anyone encoutered this lifter problem? if so how have you fixed it? or how would you go about fixing it? |
