 Transmission oil question..., which one would you recommend? |

I need to change tranny oil and I have had just one recommendation so far:
SHELL SPIRAX GSX 75W/80 (80W) GL-4 What do you think about that? What tranny oil you have been using? And also anyone here know what that "GL-4" grade means? (I have seen oils with GL-3 or GL-5 grade). Thanks for opinion... oh.. and I forgot: how much I will need? 2litres? thanks for answer... I know about that stickie
 . But my problem is not "how" but "what"  . It's because I just don't understand those codes "75W/80 (80W) GL-4". Why not GL-3 or GL-5??? Why not 80W/90??? What is that 80W??? Are those numbers good? That's my aim...note: that "pennzoil/quakerstate synchromesh" I can not find here  I don't eve know what is brand and what what is name of that oil  . -------------------- No more replicas...
