Folks look what I have found after lifting my car:
![]() main leak point was place where is transition connected to half shaft (some joint or something): ![]() for better orientation once again with comments: ![]() here another picture from different angle: ![]() what do you think it should be? I have some theories: - bad balance gear (differential gearing) or it's bearing - bad axle joint... it self or some part like some seal or ring cup... I don't know - bad half shaft (half axle) what do you thing? anyone seen this before? My car is leaking on the driver's side, so Just to make sure:
I have the seal already, waiting to be installed. About the snap ring, I was kinda confused about which side had it. Is the ring from inside the seal? Do I want to go ahead and get a snap ring from toyota? Or just hope it isn't broken. stupid transmission. ![]() |
