Hi
I had my Celica GT for around 2 months now, one of the forst things i wanted to do with it is get the cam belt changed as it was last done at 40000, its now on 89000. also got a few oil leaks repaired, the bill ended up being rather large! I was wondering if you need to wear in new cam belts a bit as my car seems to be making a whining noise since i got it back, the car feels fine its just the noise is a little disconcerting. so now im getting a bit paranoid that the garage didnt do it properly! is there much chance that a mechanic could mess a job like this up? ritch |

I know mechanics, I work with them almost everyday, and it only elevates my previous insecurities about bringing my car to a general mechanic. I would only trust a mechanic that I know personally or one who specializes in Toyota's specifically. that being said, bring it back to them and have them fix it. then, if you don't intend to do it yourself, find another mechanic for jobs like that This post has been edited by hurley97: Mar 23, 2007 - 10:11 AM -------------------- |

It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |
