 All Trac Swap, Switching bodies? |

So I am in need of more go:) i am about to put money into my 94 GT to do just that...
I have always wanted a GT-4 but i think we all know that that wont happen... SO I am thinking that i am going to buy a older Celcia All Trac so i can get the AWD Turbo to dump money into... but i hate their front end. So this brings about two real questions... Can you/has anybody swapped out the front end of a 6th gen celica onto a 5th gen All Trac Celica? If so what modification if any had to be done? I know this is a 6th gen site, and i LOVE my GT but i want to dump my money into an all wheel drive turbo... and until i figure out a way to import a GT-4 this is all i can think of... so why can't you put the older drive train into a 6th gen? obviously it wont bolt right in, but i think it would be easier than trying to swap body panels

Custom cradles have to be made for the rear tansfercase. You need to make a hall for the drive shaft to go back. Fuel tank needs to be moved and lots of cutting. Besides, having the 5th gen alltrac and just doing the front end conversion wouldn;t be as bad, but I'd rather have the carlos sainz front hood and bumper on the 5th gen alltrac on the car, because just look at it.
