oops sorry, I didn't take into consideration that it was the iridium spark plugs. If thats the case you SHOULDNT gap them because the tip is lasered.

If thats the case you SHOULDNT gap them because the tip is lasered. Why exactly does the tip prevent them from being gapped? The side electrode is what is adjusted, not the tip. Assuming you're not thumb fingered the electrode is easily adjusted if need be. You should always check the gap to be sure. I always end up having to gap mine. Never had a problem with the tips, though I use the right tool and know what I'm doing. -------------------- ![]() |
