hey my clutch has some chatter in the mornings and doesn't catch very quickly when I speed shift so i'm getting ready to replace it. I definitely don't want a 4 or 6 puck design, I want to enjoy driving around
![]() I've got a couple bolt-ons and I plan on getting a shortshifter down the road. Will a OEM clutch be able to engage as quickly as a stage 1 with these mods? Thanks for any advice, Travis these are what i'm looking at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXEDY-OEM-C...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Clutch-Mast...Q2em118Q2el1247 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACT-Clutch-...Q2em118Q2el1247 |

get an Exedy OEM replacement or Stage1.
I went with an Exedy mainly because a lot of other brands (like the Centerforce dual friction that mikeE stated above) use Exedy discs. I have an Exedy Racing Stage 2 and I absolutely love it, but it's a 3 puck and some people think its a little too harsh for everyday use, although I do drive mine everyday and love it anyway. -------------------- |
