ok so i'm tearing down my 92 3sgte and i get stuck at the pulley, no biggie i'll continue and come back to it later, well... this is later. all has been removed, and now that pulley needs to come off. the big (like 19mm or more) bolt or nut simply won't budge! tried putting the screws/screw drivers in the 2 holes and turning it with a breaker bar but it simply bent the screws. moved on to a decently nice, fairly new impact wrench, and have the same result. need some help guys/gals. thanks. i've been told there's a better tool, can anyone be specific? thanks.

Well uh, most of the time my impact takes it off no problem, if it won't work for you, then one thing you can do is (after removing the transmission and flywheel), thread in two of the flywheel bolts, opposite each other, and put a prybar between them, hold that with one hand while you work the breaker bar with the other, that way the crank doesn't spin. Or you may be able to wedge the prybar on something so you can use both hands on the breaker bar.

I'm assuming of course that the engine is out of the car.
