Ok, here's the thing. I pick up an OEM rear sturt bar today. I know how to install it everything but wut I don't get is wuts the purpose of it? I mean I hear everybody talkin about them, but I mean wut to they do and is there noticably big difference in having one as appossed to a car that doesn't?

buying parts before knowing what they do.....thats awesome
your chassis is a system which flexs and twists. the more you can stabilize the system the better your car handles. Connecting strut towers reduces chassis flex, which results in better handling performance. This is most noticeable and beneficial to a lowered vehicle. |

buying parts before knowing what they do.....thats awesome That was dickish. If he's read everyone raving about how much they love them, blah blah blah, and had an opportunity to pick one up, why not buy it? At least he asked what it's supposed to do instead of just installing it arbitrarily, which you know is exactly what a lot of people do with some mods. By buying it and asking about it, it gives the option of keeping it or selling it if it doesn't fit his needs or whatever. ![]() -------------------- ![]() |
