Woah - sounds like I may have gotten myself into more than what I bargained for. So you can't just swap the heads and use the same ECU, sensors, etc. Would a piggyback controller do the job?

So can I use the stock 5S crank or should I get a 3S-GTE crank and have it stroked for the 2.2 block? Also what about the distributor, intake manifold, throttle body, and exhaust manifold? Thanks for all your help. ![]() |

Obviously it can be done cheaper than that, but it's still going to cost at least 4 or 5 grand to get it done right. if you're seriosu about it, look over at mr2oc.com, they'll likely have a lot more info about it than here. -------------------- ![]() 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |
