 steering problem |

My steering wheel does not want to turn. When I turn the steering wheel i feel it resisting and a few moments later it turns where i want it too. It feels like the car has no power steering for a moment and feels like i get it back and then it goes out again. Thats what it feels like when i turn. What could it be? is the power steering broken?

I wouldn't think its going to snap, if anything it'll just get stuck to a point where you can't turn the wheel and then maybe go into a wall
