Changed the title name so i didnt have to make another new thread.
So heres my question, how do i remove the axles connected to the tranny to pull out the engine and transmission. Me and my buddy already have everything disconnected except for the mounts of course. We've taken off the AC Compressor, Alternator, Wiring harness, and all the vacume lines. Just need to removed the axles so we can pull the motor and tranny. Please help lol i used the search button but just got a bunnch of people swapping engines and no how to remove axles lol. This post has been edited by JuMPiiN: Jul 20, 2010 - 7:49 PM |

the obv first step is remove the huge 30mm nut in the center of the hub
crowbar between axle and tranny to pop it out (exp on pass side, it bolts to a bracket on the block) remove the 2 nuts & bolt under the hub (that hold the ball joint to the control arm) swing the hub assy away and push the axle out -------------------- QUOTE "And, as always, your friendship, help, and dedication to the advancement of Texas Celica dominance is GREATLY appreciated.
