What car did you drive BEFORE your 6G? Options

Just wondering, what made you all decide to switch from whatever you WERE driving, to a 6g. thought it would be interesting to hear from you all.


Ill Start. i had a toss up between a 95 GT a member Pimped6gen was selling, or a 99 mustang V6 5 spd. couldn't afford the 6g. so i bought the mustang. i've always liked them anyway. but i should've just waited till i could afford the mustang GT. (V6 was kinda under powered, and poor mpg)

So i went from a 94 Geo Metro 5spd, to a 99 Mustang V6 5 Spd, to my two 6g's. one Red Gt Auto Hatch. and One Turquoise GT 5Spd Hatch.

Had to sell the mustang because of the unbelievable amount of Rust i had on it from being in NY all it's life.

Went back to a Celica because of build quality, handling, sporty, and looks. I don't care about RWD, AWD, or any of that crap. It's a damn car, otherwise i would've gotten a Subaru STi
