NEWEST PROGRESS- Always my posts that say "NEW NEW NEW"
Ok so I bought the supra lights 2 weeks ago, and ordered the supra rear bumper last week, and its coming from manhattan (only a 3 hour drive from me) so I should have it very soon. Im going to take a ton of pics, and sort of step by step it, since no one really has. Essentially doing the same thing 0re0 did, with some of my own twists. Also as I suspect the bumper is going to take alot longer than it should, because people never just ship things out. Always wait a week ![]() Thats why i need some pics of the gt4 grill modded into a non gt4 bumper, like my invader. I know the pics are out there, ive seen them before, but after a half hour of looking and not finding I figured maybe someone would remember the member name? hopefully. Also making some fender vents, not sure of the style just yet, but it just seems pretty easy. If anyone has pics of some custom fender vents Id love to see them. Maybe get some new ideas. Thanks for any help, and ill post as soon as I get the bumper in This post has been edited by mgnt232: Aug 5, 2011 - 4:49 PM -------------------- |

as far as molding the lights into my old bumper, I think it would look terrible, and if im already doing the work why not just get an actual supra bumper, if thats the look im going for? And its been done alot more than molding a whole new rear on.
I havent really thought of what im going to do behind the lights, cause i have the plastic part that goes behind the whole rear, and the gigantic speaker box that makes it virtually unseeable. The actual hatch Ive been giving some thought to though, and i could use some advice i guess. Im pretty sure i can get it pretty damn smooth with the grinder. Then maybe just lay some resin or glazing putty over it to smooth it out all the way. But then again that may not work at all lol, i dont know what im doing its just trial and error. Hopefully after work i can get something done, but its not looking that way -------------------- |
