I've disconnected my 3rd boot light and don't want it. Now I have a blown bulb indicator on my dash. What can I do in terms of wiring something in to fool the car thinking there is a light there?
Pls don't say remove the dash bulb. Thanks This post has been edited by yellowchinaman: Jan 4, 2012 - 11:54 AM |

I remember the same issue is when you want to use LED bulbs. Someone said solution is to use resistor (somewhere) to make that checking circuit think there is still bulb connected. So maybe there is already some proved solution available.
Anyway. In this case I would try to measure impedance of common working bulb and put resistor with the same ohm value in bulb socket. But it is just common sense idea that should be verified by some electrician. Do not know if there is any weakness of this solution. -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution...
