So I am contemplating on doing a 3S-GTE swap as there is a local importer that has a couple of them (2nd, 3rd, 4th)
From all of the experienced members here, what would be the best choice for a 3sgte swap? Local importer quoted $2,100 for a 3rd gen 3S-GTE with everything including harness and ECU. -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold

I just got myself a 3rd gen last week. Its an easy swap from what I can tell. My headache is just from stupid unexcuseable stuff. Like needing a whole new wiring harness with the intercooler water pump relay, intercooler water pump, intercooler radiator, and an ECU. Not alot of stuff but with my lack of luck it just happens to be to more expensive.

How much did yours cost you? -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold

I like the look of the top mount, for some reason to me without it, it just looks like something is missing, like it wasnt desgined for FMIC unlike other engines. Yeah granted FMIC helps produce more power, but living in the city, factory HP is really all I need. The engine and shipping totaled out to $1832 -------------------- From Japan to Texas my st202 follows me.
