well thers like a type of subs that are called audiobahn DUBS,tehy look like rims on teh other side,if there not then wat r they?

nah, they are not the "rim style" ones.. they are unprotected on the other side, black, and have the Audiobahn symbol..

they hit nice for 2 8's... but they will not win sound competitions.. but inside the car.. I can't turn them all the way up without them hurting my ears

I have factory 8 speaker sound, with Kicker 8" subs in the doors, and 6' 3/4" speakers in the rear, stock 4" and stock tweeters (for now). I'm running the kciker's and polks from a 4 channel amp. I'm going to put a single 10 or 12 in the trunk in a custom box to top it off. Here are a few pics..

That's pretty much what I have, except for my rears are stock (starting to blow though) 8" Kicker RMB8 in front door with stock 4" and tweeters. And a 12" xplod sub. Sounds good to me
