So today while working, I see my coworker in the grocery back room looking under a pallet. Apparently earlier this week a cat got in the back room and was just living there. Eventually we were able to catch her. Poor girl was starving and scared to death. Thankfully I was able to take her home and now I have a new kitten.

Yay kitteh! :3

Decided was going to have a flare yesterday afternoon, everything was burning intensely and my arms and legs actually swelled and turned red... Those are the days I just want to die... Took over twelve hours to get back to what I consider normal, it was so bad I just had to lay down and do nothing. On the plus side I was able to catch some sleep for once.

Thanks spolski. I'm still uncertain on what I want but I'm kind of leaning towards going back to the Land of the Rising Sun, especially if an automatic is absolutely necessary. NB1 Miata, SW20 MR2, Z32 300ZX, SC300, MKIII Supra, or a 4th gen F-body. They all have various pluses and minuses and my unbiasedness and indecisiveness doesn't make things any easier. tongue.gif

That's ok if the days like the other start to become more frequent by the time I get the Firebird sold I may not even buy a car, which showing how bad things have gotten since March things are just continuing to rapidly get worse since there's just nothing out there left to try. None of the fibro/neuropathy meds help, I just get the bad side effects from them. Pain killers I might as well drink a glass of water. Muscle relaxers somewhat help sometimes, but that's eating them all day. On my normal days I can drive without much hassle, a light clutch shouldn't pose any issues and if it does it's not like I can't float the gearbox. It does need to have a good ride to it which I know the Supra, SC300, and 300ZX should. I don't recall my father's 4th gen Z28 being bad and it has to be better than the '79 which surprised me. Only ones that concern me are the NB1 Miata and SW20 MR2, I know the NA6 Miata I had beat the living Hell out of me with o.e. suspension.

I like older BMW's. I would love an e28 or e39 M5 as a daily.

I would go for an E36 coupe if it weren't for the perpetual fear of what could go wrong that'd require specialist tools.

I wanted a car that was essentially a wolf in sheeps clothing. Something that I could comfortably drive to work one day, take a date out the next, and then take to the track and thrash another day. This car does all that in spades. I looked at a e55 AMG, e550 is350, 535i, 335i and a 330i. I came to the realization that the mercs were too spongy and unreliable(air suspension) and the IS lacked the feel and power that Bimmers had. That left me with the 535(or 550i) and a 335i(330i was too slow). I picked the car up for around $10,000 which is very cheap compared to the other cars I was looking at.

Now its time for the Toyotas to get their big boy engines(and drivetrains wink.gif ) while the bmw does all the work.

Car has 155k on it, which just like with everyone drove me away from it at first, until I saw the car and talked to the owner. Its a two owner car overall and the last owner put 60k on the car in TWO YEARS, all freeway miles. It had the oil changed every 5k, and had all the maintenance taken care of properly(it was serviced at the bmw dealership only by the first owner). The car is cleaner and smoother than the 3 other 335is I drove( that had about half the miles) because both owners took very good care of it. There are small things wrong(like the front bumper needs the little silver trim piece on the driver side, and the blower motor makes a slight squeak when its on low) but most people don't even notice and I have already fixed most of them. The car looks almost brand new and feels very tight and new while driving. I did the intake valve carbon cleaning on it this weekend(They build up carbon on the intake valves due to the lack of fuel wash with the direct injection) and gained a decent amount of power. It now hits the traction control when rolling into it in 1st(with newish 255 Michelins smile.gif ).
