I would only get ebay drilled rotors if it rained almost everyday, like it does in Seattle Washington and your st celica had no abs. I had this same setup before and never had problems. Although never take these cheap rotors to the track!!!

All honesty, get brembo blanks they are super cheap and reliable!

I would buy them just to decorate my room with I would never put them on my car and I think I bought my front hawk pads for that price minus the brembos.

To me it's just not worth my safety just to have fancy rotors plus I don't want to look like an idiot when the rotors crack and my car goes off road or into a lake. laugh.gif

Yeah but, it takes a while to get ur rotors that worn to where they crack unless u are a brake rider. I mean seriously

I believe I'm right in saying that the slotting feature is entirely useless for a DD, because it exists purely to keep the pad at it's freshest, which is overrated and overwearing for a street setup.

My car came with drilled and slotted when I bought it. I'm not sure how old they are, but they have worked fine for the past 20k. Stopping really helps in some situations, I just wish I knew where the previous owner got them from.

i was thinking of getting either cross drilled or slotted rotors but then a fellow forum member told me it won't increase braking performance and that guy did ALOT of research to improve his braking, he was telling me blanks usually prove to be equal you kinda have to understand the purpose of the drilled or slotting.

read this might help

if i anything i would get slotted because it will wear the brakes more evenly BUT it will also wear the brakes faster so i decided ill just get good blanks (like brembo) that are vented

i think this video is very biased but they kinda explain the drilled vs slotted uses Slotted vs Drilled

also i will tell ya what i have been told about ebay.

Have been running them on my car for about 2 and a half years now; around 37k miles with no problems. Replaced the front brake pads late this summer and had the fronts machined with no problems or issues.
