sorry noob to the FI scene but what does a fmu do that the emanage cant? just wondering if i should go with the emanage or a btm and fmu thanks

IMO and research latly you need the FMU and emanagement.......
but with the FMU you dont' necessarily need an Apexi safc1 or 2 |

fmu by itself can run a turbo system it does not need the help of e-manager or SAFC I or II but you can lean it out to make more power. Also you can ran just a e-manager or a SAFC with out a FMU. With those two controlers you can increase the fuel at different rpm (tuning) the FMU does it automatically 10:1 when the FMU sees 1 pound of boost it will increase fuel 10 psi on a fmu to a point. FMU fuel map is a straight line mostly the others you can curve the line so you get the max power as well as staying safe.
