 Any one been to Nice, France?? |

Has any one been there? Im planning a trip for my gf and I for our 1.5 Year aniversary b4 i go away to school. We were trying to find some where nice to go, some where its not gonna be to crowded, somewhere warm and some where with good food. So i figured, why not Nice. French food is always sooooo good, its right on the Med, its not overly crowded, and its got a mix of an old town and a new city. Any ways, any one been there? Any thing we should/shouldn't do?? Recomendations of places to go, things to do, things to eat? Also, any one been to Avingon? We are planning to fly into Charles De Gaul(Paris), buy a french rail pass, take a train from Paris to Lyon, then to Nice. And we will have 4 days of unlimited travel in France, so we are thinking of going to Avingon one day aswell.
